King of Paine

King of Paine - Larry Kahn King of Paine is the second book I have read this year that I thought would make a great movie. Where else could you find a story about a Hollywood actor who turns his back on fame and becomes a real FBI agent? It's one of those stories where things seem a bit disjointed and unrelated in the beginning. But, if you just trust in the author, things slowly begin to fit together. The plot of this book was very well laid out and was not what I was suspecting. Honestly, to talk too much about the plot would give it away.

The characters were well fleshed out. I loved Frank and wanted him to succeed in his quest for redemption and forgiveness. I liked how he kept writing headlines for himself to capture the situations he found himself in. I did think that Jolynn forgave him a little to quickly, but that is my opinion.

I definitely recommend this one. Once I started reading, I couldn't walk away from it.
